It is clear that Viber has been focusing lately on giving a more fun and informal approach to his messaging application. Not too long ago we read that Viber for Android have a new version in which we can draw and add fun elements in photos to share them with contacts, which already made us suspect that Viber began to remind us more of Line than any other messaging app of the moment .
And indeed Viber goes one step further and presents us with a new market of stickers and emoticons on iOS and Android, which will gradually be implemented through updates to the users’ Viber – all of this responding to the intention of starting a monetization process, in which Viber has decided to start billing by selling sticker packs. Viber also launches a renewed push-to-talk sent messages feature that allows users to send each other short voice messages at any time and quite quickly when sending and receiving said recording.
More new features of the new version of the application in both operating systems are the possibility of creating conversations with up to 100 participants, the option of sending messages to groups or the new customizable backgrounds for chat rooms.
If you want to try the new Viber you can download it on these links to iTunes and GooglePlay. If you already have it installed and want to access the new functions, just wait for the update.
