A long time ago I decided to use Twitter as a source of information of all kinds. The most popular links and the most relevant news are those indicated by thousands of users around the world, not by one or two journalists from influential media.
The fact is that I have been using thoora Y topsy to get the most relevant from this huge content network, although today, thanks to Laura Gracia, I discover TICKnTALK, a possible substitute with great looks.
It is an extension for Firefox (they are already preparing the one for Chrome and Safari) that allows us to always have available, in a side section, the most recommended links on Twitter in different languages.
We can indicate to show us the most popular of Twitter in Spanish, or to inform us about the most recommended urls within the website we are visiting (in the upper screenshot you can see the example by opening wwwhatsnew.com).
Of course, it also allows us to update Twitter and consult our data from there, something that many other extensions already do.
Undoubtedly an excellent tool that allows us to be constantly informed about what is going on in the world.
