The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug Barrel Escape and The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug Spiders of Mirkwood are the new games that Kabam has released on the web to celebrate the premiere of the film, which will hit the screens on December 13.
Simultaneously they have released a new pack for their famous mobile game, The Hobbit: Kingdoms of Middle-earth, an extension in which the players will have to fight against Smaug, following the line of the feature film.
Barrel Escape needs to have Unity installed on the computer to be able to enjoy the 3D effects, being necessary to download a huge amount of data before you can start enjoying the game, while Spiders of Mirkwood is a much simpler game in which we drive Bilbo between specific scenes in the film, killing spiders and avoiding obstacles. In the first case we have a series of missions that can be accomplished to get bonuses: defeat five orcs, fall less than 3 times before reaching the end and walk up to 250 feet without stumbling over any obstacle.
They are web games, you do not expect anything spectacular, although on many occasions the use of Unity in Barrel Escape is quite surprising, approaching the experience you have on video game consoles.
