The new Samsung Galaxy S8 has been leaked, and it looks like what Samsung needed.

Let’s be honest, Samsung needs something big right now for us to forget about the Note 7 fiasco. And it seems that the Galaxy S8 may be exactly that.

The new high-end Samsung has not yet been presented, but as reported in The Free Android, we already have a new photo of the final model; as well as data of its components.

As be the new Samsung Galaxy S8

The new Samsung Galaxy S8 will be available at two models, one 5.8-inch and one 6.2-inch; however, other than that there don’t seem to be many differences.

Both will have Super AMOLED displays with QHD resolution (2560 x 1440); the bezels will be very limited, since the screen occupies 83% of the front. In addition, both models will be edge, that is, the screen will curl on the sides of the device.

The processor will be different depending on the region; can be an Exynos from Samsung itself, or a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835. In both cases it is expected to be 11% faster than the Galaxy S7; Players will be glad that the difference will be greater in graphics, which will be 23% faster.

All this does not mean that they will consume more; they are expected to be 20% more efficient. This is important because the battery will not be spectacular; 3000 mAh on the 5.8-inch model, and 3500 mAh on the 6.2-inch model. Is Samsung playing it safe? Of course I do.

As for memory, they will have 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage, even on the most basic models. Unlike what was rumored, the Galaxy S8 have a 3.5 millimeter jack port for our headphones, in addition to USB-C.

The new Samsung Galaxy S8 will be presented on March 29, when the Samsung Unpacked will be held; therefore, it seems that this time we will not see it at the MWC in Barcelona that takes place at the end of February. The launch will take place on April 21.

As for prices, they are just rumors, but it is said that the two models will cost about 100 ms than the Galaxy S7. So the 5.8-inch model will stay at 799, while the 6.2-inch will cost 899.
