A few weeks ago we introduced you an extension for Firefox and Chrome that integrates with Gmail allowing you to define a date for the automatic sending of our messages, Right Inbox. Now they contact again to report a rather interesting update that allows us to be notified when the recipient of our emails opens the message we decide.
We just have to activate the new Track field that will appear in our writing panel. Right Inbox will be in charge of verifying when said message is opened and sending us an email informing about the IP, time and date that our text was read.
Although they do not specify how they do it, a pixel is usually included in the email, an image that will serve as an alert to warn when it is opened by some user (which means that it may not work if you send a plain text message).
Personally, although I prefer not to install extensions that integrate with my email account, I think it is a very good idea to know whether or not our message is open, helping to make better decisions about the method of transmitting information.
