Opera Software has been offering its web browser to mobile devices for almost two decades, although it is aware that tablets are different for a number of reasons, starting with screen sizes, so it is not the same to offer the same experience in a mobile device than on a tablet. That is why today it has announced the launch of version 18 of its Android application, which brings a new different user experience for Android tablets.
Opera 18 for Android has taken into account all aspects of the browser itself to adapt it to tablet screens, with a completely planned interface studied by engineers to bring said user experience to users of Android tablets, who may have Easy access to commonly used functions, such as the navigation buttons or the conveniently located menu page to facilitate natural rest while using a tablet.
Opera 18 for Android also brings the Discover function, which allows users to discover new content that they can consume with their devices, the Off-Road mode, designed for those difficult connectivity conditions whereby it compresses data traffic to minimize use data, and the Speed Dial or Speed Dial, so users can configure their home pages with large icons of those pages they visit most.
Opera 18 for Android, based on Chromium 31, we already have it available on Google Play.
