OnePlus is launching its most affordable (and unknown) phone via reservation system

OnePlus Nord

The most reasonable thing is that people do not launch into the purchase of a mobile phone of which they do not know both its characteristics and its final price, but OnePlus is offering a curious reservation system through invitations for the acquisition of the new OnePlus Nord, the long-awaited model. OnePlus’ affordable mobile phone, of which most of its specifications are unknown.

Only a slip by Qualcomm EU, whose tweet was immediately withdrawn, and later the confirmation by Pete Lau, CEO of OnePlus, in an interview with the TechRadar UK publication, allow us to know that it will come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor, with integrated 5G connectivity. .

The rest of the specifications are still unknown, although rumors suggest that it will come with a 90Hz FullHD + screen, with at least 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, and according to confirmations, with a double notch on the screen, having a price confirmed by the CEO himself of 500 euros in Europe.

Today the first of the three rounds for reservations that OnePlus has programmed on the promotional website has begun so that users can quickly reserve their units for about 20 euros in Europe and its equivalent in India, a money that will be deducted from the price final at the time of acquiring them through the coupon that they will obtain in their accounts with the reservation made, with which they will also carry surprise gifts.

Although today’s round has ended, those interested will be able to attend the following rounds scheduled for July 8 and 15. In the case of North America, OnePlus will launch a highly limited beta program after the official launch.

There are those who interpret that OnePlus Nord represents the return to the roots of the company, although the CEO of OnePlus points out that:

And since our ‘roots’ really lie in creating the best flagship smartphones, I see this part of our strategy as an important extension of the OnePlus value proposition.
