On some occasions we have already spoken about Moped as a communications service that aims to be open and available for different platforms, both mobile and desktop, integrating third-party services to improve communications themselves. Dropbox is precisely one of those integrated services, and that integration is improved today, allowing users via the web to browse their own files without leaving Moped, being able to select those files they need, simply obtaining the corresponding links, thus gaining speed. and availability.
It turns out that this option, which has just been included in its web version today, was recently added to its iOS application, whose new version was released last Friday. Still, Moped retains the ability to upload Dropbox files to its own platform within the conversations themselves, although it now occupies a secondary position. For users to use this possibility, they must connect their Dropbox accounts with Moped.
The file selector in Dropbox is thus available for the web version and for the mobile application in iOS, pending to be integrated into the recent desktop application launched for the Mac platform and for the Android mobile application, with these having a basic integration .
From Moped they plan to integrate other cloud storage services later, such as those of Box or Google Drive itself, although at the moment it is not a priority for them, since they are currently focused on Dropbox.
