Invest Me Ventures (inviertemeventures.com) is the first start-up accelerator born in Seville, an accelerator that aims to invest 450,000 euros a year in entrepreneurial projects.
They announce it on their blog highlighting that they want to invest in people, not only in projects, being necessary to also register at www.invierteme.com (network for entrepreneurs and investors) to report the profile and information of their project.
The first edition will be held in January 2014 and it is already possible to present the application from today until next December 15. Since the objective is to inject a minimum of 450,000 euros per year into a total of 15 technology-based projects, it will be 30,000 euros per project (as a participatory loan), and both projects from Andalusia and the rest of Spain can be accepted.
Hctor M. Morell is the CEO of InvierteMe, and has mentors such as Juan Merodio or Carlos Tapiador and outstanding trainers who will be responsible for classes on different subjects related to entrepreneurship.
Although at the moment they focus on the acceleration of Spanish projects, another objective is to reach the United States and Latin America during 2014, so it seems that we will hear a lot about Invest Me Ventures quite a bit over the next few months.
