Innovation, Communication and Media Congress

On September 27 and 28, the Innovation, Communication and Media Congress was held in San Jos (Costa Rica), a meeting organized to commemorate the 20 years of the Agreement between the National Institute of Learning (INA), Radio Nederland Training Center ( RNTC) and the National Radio Chamber of Costa Rica (CANARA).

The objective of this Congress was to offer an overview of the innovation in communication and information practices in the context of the digital convergence of the media that demands new content and new ways of presenting this content, forcing us to develop new skills and competencies that allow communicators to face the new demands of audiences.

For this, topics such as corporate communication and image for organizational strengthening; the relevance of digital tools for the production of information for innovation and organizational creativity; production of journalistic messages in electronic format through the use of media convergence and application of digital tools (audio, text, video, interactivity, streaming, podcast, infographics, etc.); research in logistics for business and organizational development, based on dynamics of knowledge management and innovation; and the new languages ​​and formats developed in the fields of electronic and international journalism.

This initiative also counted on the cooperation of CANARA, the Latin American Federation of Faculties of Social Communication (FELAFACS), the College of Journalists of Costa Rica, the Universidad Autnoma de Occidente (Colombia) and the Universidad Latina (Costa Rica).
