As much as we strive to do everything throughout the 24 hours that a day has, there are days in which it is completely impossible to reach everything we would like to do. No matter how hard we try, no matter how hard we try, we end up not being able to do everything we set out to do, and perhaps it is the fault of not organizing our time well.
Reading articles like this is one of the things that eats us that time, especially when we talk about long articles that cover a topic in depth. We can spend more time than we thought reading Internet articles that we could save and read when we have more time. Something we could do if we knew in advance how long it will take to read an article.
Some web pages and some news readers integrate this feature into their functions, but it is always good to have it on any web page we visit. Readism is born with that objective, to analyze the web pages that we want to visit, read to tell us how long it will take us to do it, all through a simple pop-up message that appears at the bottom of the screen.
The extension to manage time on the web
Readism is an extension available for Google Chrome that does just that, tell us how long it will take to read an article that interests us. We just have to install the extension as is, press the button, and voila. From now on we just have to enter any article, give it a second to analyze the page, and go to show us how long it will take to read the article approximately.
The advantage is that being a Chrome extension, travel with us to any web page that you can recognize; does not force us to use a reading service or a specific page, we can continue browsing as usual. The configuration options only allow us to configure the graphics section and little else, in any case, so expect simplicity of this tool.
As we have mentioned before, Readism is available in the Chrome Web Store and we only need have Google Chrome as a browser to use it. And if you wondered how long it took you to read this article, it is 2 minutes according to the tool. What have they been worth?
