In December Google launched Google Currents, an application for Android and iOS that allows you to explore online magazines and other content from tablets and mobiles, an application that has achieved more than 400 editions in the United States and more than 14,000 individual productions.
Now they allow the application to be installed worldwide, reading in our language and allowing us to add the content of our favorite publications.
We can access already registered, classified publications, or transform it into a personalized news reader, remembering that international publishers, through the system, can start adding local content for an international audience, choosing where to make it available to everyone and with the possibility of activating the auto-translation.
They comment on the google blog:
Locally, we have worked with various publishers to offer editions with full articles from publications such as Cosmoplitan, Vanidades, T, and Esquire. For example, in Mexico, readers will be able to find local options such as the magazine Caras or Rcord, with content that is interesting and relevant to them. We are also offering a self-service platform for local publishers to make their publications available on Google Currents, with the ability to design, customize and add your brand to your web content.
A new content reader for portable devices that promises a lot.
