Since GoEuro (goeuro.es), a well-known travel ticket search engine in Germany and the United Kingdom, inform us that they have landed in Spain, comparing and combining different types of transport to reach the destination that we specify.
With the aim of saving time and money, and based in Berlin, it opts for a fairly simple operation. We just have to choose the town or city of origin and destination, with the date and the number of people, the result classifies the means of transport and shows us the best options, as you can see in the image below:
In the example I show a trip from Venta de Baos (my town, in Palencia, where trains of all kinds stop) to Berlin, showing plane options and none in other alternative transport, so it seems that they still have to continue expanding its database to generate more complete routes.
The service is free, they do not charge to use GoEuro, and the prices are obtained from the pages of the associated companies. Every time someone makes a purchase, GoEuro sends them cookies and charges a commission.
The idea is good, there are not many cheap travel search engines that include towns or transport such as trains and buses. It will be interesting to analyze its evolution in our country.
