We do not know if the rumors that circulate on the Internet regarding the future Google Drive and its 5 GB series have had something to do with the movement that Dropbox has just made in its referral program, in which users can get extra space in our Dropbox accounts for each new user we invite, although circumstances lead us to believe that it is.
And it is that Dropbox has just announced that they are going to double the extra capacity that we receive in our Dropbox accounts for each new user that we invite. The picture changes for both free and paid accounts. In free accounts, we will go from receiving 250 MB to 500, up to a total of 16 extra GB, which is equivalent to inviting 32 people. In paid accounts, for each guest user we will receive 1 GB of space up to a total of 32 GB.
In the same post they indicate some of the ways that we users have to invite our own friends to be part of Dropbox, a bet by word of mouth that, according to said post, gives greater dissemination.
In short, it seems that the market for online storage services is moving and it is time to move, to know who will be next.
