The second webconference on Monday, July 5, 2010 within the framework of the I Virtual Congress and II Online Conference on Free Knowledge and Education (CLED 2010) corresponded to Mariana Affronti.
Under the title of Digital Wisdom: Symbiosis of our intelligence with an external tool, Affronti starts from the premise that the sum of intelligence plus the appropriate technology results in what he calls digital wisdom, relying on Prensky, who points out that digital technology can make us increasingly wise.
Likewise, assuming that Man is more like his time than his father (Arab proverb), Affronti emphasizes that he can share knowledge, as knowledge management is an attitude, a decision, a behavior, and at the same time our commitment as teachers. Affronti further states that
if the idea is using new media with an old mindset, we will still not take advantage of the huge amount of technological tools at our disposal.
Among many other contributions, Mariana Affronti mentions the 8 basic competences of Antonio Prez Sanz: – Competence in linguistic communication – Mathematical competence – Competence in knowledge and interaction with the physical world – Information processing and digital competence – Social and civic competence – Cultural and artistic competence – Competence in learning to learn – Autonomy and personal initiative
