Adobe Photoshop Camera reaches its first stable version with lots of filters

Adobe Photoshop Camera

We are already used to the use of filters and effects for our images and videos that the same social mobile applications make available to us to publish the results directly on them.

But the Adobe Photoshop Camera application is more focused as an alternative to mobile camera appsBoth those that come standard in mobile phones, as well as the numerous existing options from third parties, seeking to bring the magic of Photoshop directly to the moment of taking the photograph.

Seeks to compete with filters and effects built into social apps

This application was presented last November as one of the novelties of the last edition of Adobe Max, since then it has been available as public beta, although today it’s time to graduate to the stable phase, coming under version 1.0 for both Android (compatible with a few current mobile phone models) and iOS, free of charge, through the respective app markets.

Adobe Photoshop Camera compete directly with filters and effects built into the mobile apps themselves. In its favor is the use of Adobe Sensei technology both to carry out some automatic adjustments (there are also some manual adjustments) and to apply impressive filters and effects on the images.

But against it is that it only focuses on photographs, being incompatible with videos, although it allows playing both with the images that are captured from the application itself and the images that are already saved on the mobile phones themselves.

Currently, Adobe Photoshop Camera feature over 80 stunning filters and numerous real-time effects, ranging from those that allow adjustments to be made to part or all of an image to others that offer multiple customizable creative capabilities.

Adobe leaves the doors open for its filters to be integrated into third-party applications, and Over time we will also offer new filters in collaboration with specific creators and artists..

As we said, its first stable version is already available, although for now it is compatible with a few phone models within the Android platform. All that remains is for users to pay attention to and adopt it when sharing their images on social networks, something that at first may seem complicated due to the fact of having to modify user behaviors.
